Thank you Tania Yannarilli for 25 years of grantmaking service!
We want to bid a fond farewell to Tania Yannarilli, our Grants Manager at Park Foundation, who is retiring this year marking a quarter of a century of service. Tania has been an integral part of the team through leadership changes, welcoming new trustees and staff, and leading the transition of our grantmaking from paper files to the digital systems we rely on today.
Tania joined Park in 2001 after 13 years at Family & Children’s Service of Ithaca. There she assumed various roles including Executive Assistant. As database manager at Park, she oversaw the shift to electronic proposals and reports and served as the behind-the-scenes steady hand with grantee partners helping them navigate our processes. Most recently, she shepherded the Foundation through the successful launch of our new grants application portal in August 2025.
Beyond her dedicated work at Park, Tania has been deeply involved in her professional and local communities. She has been a member of PEAK Grantmaking since 2003, serving on its Steering and Program Committee’s, and helped launch a Regional Grants Manager committee through the New York Funders Alliance to foster shared learning across organizations. In Ithaca and Cortland, she has dedicated time to the Ithaca Business Women’s Network, serving on its board as Secretary, to Cortland Repertory Theatre as a Guild member, and, for nearly two decades, to the Cortland Youth Hockey Association. She also acts as a poll worker in Cortland County.
As she steps into this new chapter, we know that her family, including her children, and grandchildren, will be the happy beneficiaries of more time with her. Adventures await, whether in travel, in community, or in cherished moments with loved ones.
We are deeply grateful for her many years of service and wish her much joy and fulfillment as she embraces this next chapter of life.
