The goal of the Park Foundation's application process is to obtain the information it needs to determine whether a project, program or organization has funding potential, while minimizing unnecessary work for prospective grantees. The submission deadlines for 2010 are: January 4; April 2; July 2; October 1. Proposals must arrive at the Foundation's office by the dates listed to be considered for a grant at the next quarterly Board meeting.
All proposals received will be acknowledged by email or by regular mail usually within a week of receipt.
While the Foundation does not guarantee it, most decisions on full proposals are made within the quarter. Occasionally proposals are deferred to a subsequent quarter for reasons of volume, need for additional review, or other circumstances. Applicants will be notified if a deferral occurs.
LETTERS OF INQUIRY:
Letters of Inquiry may be submitted at any time and are reviewed on an ongoing basis. The Foundation requests that applicants submit: (1) a cover letter that includes a summary of the project and (2) an inquiry cover sheet, downloadable here:
