If not using the downloadable form, you are welcome to send a letter of inquiry. It should include:
- a description of the organization and its work
- an overall organization budget
- a copy of the organization's IRS tax-exemption letter
- a description of the project for which funding is being sought, including problems or issues to be addressed and anticipated outcomes
- time frame for the proposed project
- a project budget that explains total cost of the project
- the amount requested of the Foundation, and
- amount raised or to be raised from other sources.
In some cases, applicants may be requested to submit additional materials.
Deadlines for completed applications are: January 4, April 4, July 4 and October 3. (There are no deadlines for letters of inquiry, as the Foundation reviews requests regularly.) Please submit all correspondence to the Park Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 550, Ithaca, New York 14851. The members of the Board of Trustees request that correspondence be submitted to the Foundation office in place of personal or written contact with individual Board members.
